Dalam blog pribadinya Hana mengakui bahwa menjadi seorang Muslimah di sebuah negara Barat dapat sedikit menakutkan, terutama ketika para mata di sekitarnya menatap dengan tatapan aneh. Maklum saja, di negara-negara Barat, sebagian penduduknya telah terjangkit Islamofobia. Tak sedikit, Muslimah yang mengalami diskriminasi dan pelecehan saat mengenakan jilbab. Bahkan, di Jerman beberapa waktu lalu, seorang Muslimah dibunuh di pengadilan karena mempertahankan jilbab yang dikenakannya.
“Karena itu, mengapa saya ingin menciptakan sesuatu yang akan membantu para Muslimah di mana pun untuk terus termotivasi mengatasi rasa takut itu,” ujar Hana. Kini, dengan busana Muslimah yang dirancangnya, kaum Muslimah di negara-negara Barat bisa tampil dengan busana yang bisa diterima masyarakat tanpa meninggalkan aturan yang ditetapkan syariat Islam.
